Hello there my name is Edwin I have a question I’m trying to import some goods from China worth $600 usd I was wondering do I have to pay any tax and duty at customs or any fees my import terms is DDU..
Hi Edwin,
The situation will vary depending on the nature of your imports. For instance, if this imported goods are personal effects (your own used stuff), then you don’t have to pay for the import tax with the appropriate docs; if it’s for commercial usage, you will have to pay for the import tax, VAT and duty. I hope that helps.
