We are the customs broker in UK and doing the clearance. Since the value of your parcel is higher than the threshold set by HMRC (135GBP), therefore we collect the VAT and Duty on HMRC’s behalf.
This means for anyone purchase an item with the value higher than 135GBP, HMRC will charge you on VAT and Duty.
Unfortunately, you need to contact your seller for the refund. CCL as customs broker is unable to refund your purchase.
